On Friday, August 25th, Jack and I woke and walked to the park where we first met. We wrote and exchanged vows on the park bench where we first kissed, across from the boardwalk where he proposed only weeks ago. As the morning slipped into the afternoon, we in turn slipped into our wedding attire (complete with matching ties).
With him in his heather grey suit and me in my bird print dress, we walked to the courthouse to make it legal. And after legalities were managed, we headed out of town with no reservation for a place to stay and no specific destination set. On our way to wherever we were going, we found a quiet country road... quite ideal for an impromptu photo shoot. Cheers to ideal locations and impeccable light on the day you marry the love of your life.
